Dr. Melissa Grosboll,
D.C., F.I.C.P.A.
I knew I wanted to be a doctor from the time I was 8 years old. Chiropractic was the direction I chose when I finished my undergraduate college work. I started seeing a chiropractor when I was about 12 for my low back pain. He did wonders for me! I loved the idea of getting out of pain without having to take drugs. Even as a child, I thought there was something wrong with taking medicine to fix something like pain. Chiropractic was the perfect fit for me. It’s a safe and effective way to relieve pain and get to the cause of problems, not just treat or cover the symptoms. I started practicing in 1997 and have practiced in Colorado since 2000, loving the Lone Tree and Highlands Ranch community where I call my second home.
I have a passion for prenatal and pediatric care, choosing to certify in 2003. Our children are sicker than ever before and this is the first generation where children are not expected to outlive their parents. I have a mission to assist children in being the healthiest they can be, many times by treating them through their mothers.
My motto is “We care for everyone, from womb to tomb.”
I love working with pregnant women and children, but I also love working with adults, athletes, and people of all ages. Some of my biggest joys have been patients who were told by traditional doctors that there was nothing else that could be done for them. Working with them on getting to the cause of their problems and having them get well under care is what my business is all about.
On a personal level, I have been married to my amazing and supportive husband, Jon, since 1993 and our daughter Danielle was born in 1998. I love the outdoors and am totally at home in Colorado! I’ve completed two sprint triathalons and ran my first half-marathon in 2010. I also love traveling, reading and painting.
